We recently attended the Illinois Amish Heritage Center's annual Threshers Reunion and had a wonderful time exploring history in action. From steam engines and antique farm equipment to blacksmithing, rope making, and horse-powered demonstrations, there was something new to discover around every corner.
The group enjoyed learning about traditional farming practices, touring historic buildings, and experiencing the rich heritage that has helped shape our local communities. Thank you to the @il_amish_heritage_center and all of the volunteers who work to preserve and share these important stories and traditions.
