Rally for Self-Directed Supports 2011
Self-Directed Supports means that people with disabilities have control over their services. It’s about creating an individual budget, choosing a personal advocate, choosing from a variety of services, and having a business agent. This exciting day is filled with learning and teaching opportunities through music, skits, games, activities, and sharing of ideas.
This event is free, and lunch is included. Please register by completing the Registration Form. Registrations are limited to the first 300 people and must be in by Friday, May 27, 2011 so that lunches can be ordered and accommodations prepared. The Alliance will reimburse mileage for self-advocate transportation.
